Ages ago when they used to walk The Land, the Godlings were known to be
much like you or me. Each had the capacity for great love or hatred. It seems that even Godlings are not immune to the passions
that afflict even our kind.
Each of them bare similar physical characteristics of their brethren, The Ssith, The Avians, The Mermadons, The Fenrir, The Exocrinds, and The Bastards. They took on personalities similar to their brethren, as well as behaviors and habits.
Marek is the first born son of The Father, of Exocrind blood. He is well known for his great kindness and even greater cruelty.
Many have been saved from certain doom by the Lord of Chaos, only to be slowly tortured to death. Marek calls no one his master, not even The Father.
He is the embodiment of pure chaos and unpredictability.
The Exocrinds that worship him follow only his word, belying fanatical devotion in attempt to keep upon Marek's good graces.
Strangely enough, Marek seems to be closely bound to the most unlikely of Godlings, Cassandria. Such an odd relationship these two share, the Lord of Chaos, and the Queen of Justice. One would think that these two would be at each others throats, but apparently each respects the other's power, and that is enough to stay amiable. After al, what would chaos be without order?
Cassandria, the Queen of Justice, was born of Avian blood. She takes her namesake very seriously, as one would suspect. No evil, or heinous act shall be overlooked by her sharp eyes. All crimes will be accounted for, and there will always be a reckoning. Such is her way.
The few of us mortals that have had the privelege of seeing this woman, have wept for months at the sight of her. Mortals quarrel far too easily, just for the honor of being near her majesty, so she spends little time upon The Lands, to protect her brethren, and other Faithful from themselves.
Luthic the Hunter was born of Fenrir blood, and second born son. He is master of the weather and nature, and is often considered the god of life, for a mere whisper from him may heal the very Land itself. He has spent much of his time upon The Land repairing the damage done by his older brother, Marek. There is no loss of love between these brothers, each locking each other in a battle of wits and power since their births.
If Luthic could call anyone an ally, it would be the youngest Godling, Kira, Mistress of Death. Maturing together Luthic had intervened upon Kira's behalf more than once.
Kira, Mistress of Death is the second and only other daughter. She calls the Ssith he brothers and sisters. This petite and seemingly frail woman with the face of a child proves that appearances can be deceiving. She coils like her serpentine brethren, often stiking so fiercly and quickly that she has earned a name as quite a warrior. Kira is considered the young rebel of the Godlings, dabbling into the Dark Ways. She stands guard at the gates to the underworld, ever vigilant, seeking the worthy to join her in her quest for answers to the great mysteries of the beyond.
The Ssith who would call her their queen are nearly as fanatic as Marek's faithful. To them, dying is the greatest honor their queen can bestow upon them, for only then can they be near her for eternity.
Shreck the Hermit is possibly the most mysterious Godling. Little is known of this one other than that he is of Mermadon blood. Shreck calls the Deep his home, and all of those who are wise would pray to him before even crossing a shallow stream. Many a sailor or fisherman know full well the respect this Godling demands, and how quickly he may turn the tide upon you if you fall from grace.
The Mermadons, and people that live on or near the water often call him their lord and master, for he may bestow upon them the great riches of the unkown deep. Autarkis the Outcast lives up to his ever-so-appropriate name, being of Outcast blood. He is the youngest child and cares little for petty affairs of the world. Mastering the magicks of The Lands are all that this Godling seems to care about. So ingenious is Autarkis, it is rumored that he may harness magicks into items bestowing upon them great power. Of all the Godlings, he seems to be both the most liked, and the most hated. Perhaps the other Godlings are jealous of his great intelligence. He is know as the thinker, not the fighter and has often prevented many conflicts through his wits.
All Outcasts call this Godling their own. To them he is many things, including the father of invention, and many shools of thought, as well as the god of sages across The Lands.
